Workshops

Is your organization planning a move to computerized adaptive testing (CAT) and/or item response theory (IRT) and you would like relevant personnel to be trained in how IRT and CAT work? Based on our unparalleled almost forty years experience with CAT and the IRT that supports it, ASC offers instructional workshops, both in-person and through Web conferencing. The coverage and depth of content can be tailored to fit your requirements, as can the use of ASC software and other relevant software. Workshops can be from one to four or five days, depending on your needs.

In addition to IRT and CAT, we also can present workshops on other psychometric topics, such as:
  • Item banking
  • Item writing
  • Electronic testing
  • Classical test theory
  • Equating and scaling
  • The test development process
  • Standard-setting.
If you are interested in a workshop on one of these or another psychometric topic, please contact us. To see currently scheduled workshops, please visit our web store.
