Can't open the ".SCR" file created by ITEMAN, RASCAL or EXCALIBRE by double-clicking it in Windows
The ITEMAN, RASCAL and XCALIBRE programs create an examinee score file with an extension of ".SCR"
When you double-click it to open it, Windows may expect it to be a "screen saver"
file because of the ".SCR" extension. There are a couple of solutions:
Instead of double-clicking on the file, open it with a text editor such as
Notepad or
WordPad.
Rename the file and use a different extension such as ".txt" to open it automatically as a text file.
