If you received a message from FastTEST 2.0 that MDAC 2.1 was not installed, then you will have to install
it in order to use FastTEST 2.0.
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) is a database engine that allows
applications to connect to different data sources.
FastTEST 2.0 uses this for its database engine. If you have Windows 2000 and above, chances are this is
already installed on your computer. Windows 95, 98 and NT users may have to install MDAC version 2.1 if it hasn't
been installed previously for use by other programs.
Newer versions of MDAC should also work. The latest version of MDAC can be found on
Microsoft's website.
