MicroFACT: Screen remains blank after choosing input file
Problem:
I run MicroFACT but nothing appears to happen after I select my input
file-- the screen remains blank, the cursor blinks occasionally, and then
Windows reappears. What's wrong?
Solution:
Nothing is really wrong. If there were no error messages, your analysis
was run and the results file should be where you specified. With some
monitors, MicroFACT 2.0 does not display intermediate output unless the
monitor is set to 256 colors. To reset your monitor to see the
intermediate output, select
Control Panel/Display/Settings, then "256 colors" from the drop-down menu.
When you are finished running MicroFACT, you can reset your monitor to the
color selection that existed before you changed it.
